At Spinalogy, investigations are prescribed according to the patient’s ailment. Prescribing a battery of tests, does not fit the ‘Spinalogy Methodology’. Only after careful analysis, the most suitable course of action is employed. This Investigation process helps us in arriving at a conclusive diagnosis.
A good view of the patient’s problems is key to providing the right therapy. Our investigation process comprises the following:
Posture Analysis
Posture-related problems cause mechanical pain and are almost epidemic in the young population. Hence, posture analysis is fast becoming an essential step in the investigation phase. It provides an insightful view into the major cause of the problem. During posture analysis, various parameters are tested to understand the deviation. Posture analysis comprises study of all possible postures adapted in a person’s daily routine. Corrective measures are prescribed according to the problems unearthed.
Laboratory Tests
This process commonly includes blood tests, which help in diagnosing a problem, or assessing nutrition levels of the patient. Results of these tests help us to determine the patient’s treatment plan.
Imaging
We have in-house X-ray facility available to save patient’s valuable time and arrive at a diagnosis at the first visit. After evaluating the X-Ray, we are able to decide on the way forward. If the X-ray is conclusive, we prescribe a treatment plan. In case there is some ambiguity, an imaging test is prescribed to provide the Doctor with more clarity. A higher imaging test like CT, MRI, Bone Scan, etc. is advised to provide intelligence about the ailment. This helps in providing a concise treatment process that works. When it comes to our treatment processes, we are extremely accurate and do not believe in relying on guesswork.
These processes employed during the Investigation stage provide a frame of reference for future diagnosis and cure. Hence, we ensure that the right tests are taken to not only help a current problem but also shed light on the problems that might occur at a later date.
