Do I need to do any preparation for the appointment ?
- Bring all your old and ongoing medical records (if any) including blood test reports/ X-ray/MRI/CT etc films and reports with you.
- Organise your reports at Home to save your and your doctor’s time during the consultation.
- One responsible person should be accompanying elderly patients. Avoid the unnecessary crowd.
- If a patient needs a wheelchair, priorly inform on +91 9922 134 134.
- Wear loose-fitting clothes for consultation and therapy sessions.
- If you can't remember all, write down your problems on a piece of paper and bring it along with you.
- Inform doctors well in advance if you have any allergies or drug reactions.
- Do not hide any past medical history from doctors. Each medical history is important to diagnose and treat you.
What if I don’t reside in Pune?
You can take an Online Consultation. Contact our front desk for the same. When it is necessary to meet in person, we have tie-ups with various hotels and service apartments nearby. We will help you to get accommodation at discounted rates. Keep us informed about your travel plans so that we can connect you with the appropriate contacts.
What is the process for taking an appointment?

Is it necessary to take a prior appointment for a consultation?
Yes. We do consultations only by appointment.
Consultation
Do you have home consultations?
We do only physiotherapy consultations at home.
What are the consultation charges?
Consultation with Orthopaedic or Spine specialist will be INR 500 for the first consultation and INR 300 for a follow-up till the time of 3 months. For the first four days to show the investigations there is no follow-up charge. Charges may vary for visiting consultants and other specialists and please confirm them with the front desk in case of any query.
What if the doctor is not available at my appointment time?
Usually, this does not happen if you have taken a prior appointment. In unavoidable circumstances and cancellation of an appointment, you will get a call from the clinic on the given number to reschedule your appointment at your next convenient time.
What is the process for the consultation?
Once you reach 5 min ahead of the appointment schedule, registration is done at the front desk. You will be guided to history taking room and the assistant doctor will take your detailed medical history and conduct the primary examination. If required, X-rays will be done. Then you will see a specialist doctor and after his assessment either he may advise further investigations such as Blood tests, MRI etc. or prescribe medicines and treatment. Follow-up will be advised as and when necessary.
Timing
What are the consultation timings?
You will have to take a prior appointment with the front desk for consultation with doctors in the clinic. Physiotherapists are available on Monday to Saturday from 8.00 AM to 9.30 PM and on Sunday 9.00 AM – 1.00 PM. For Specialists you need to book your appointment first.
What if the patient cannot come on time?
In that case, you have to inform our front desk well in advance and reschedule the appointment and confirm the status. If the patient cannot reach in time, then consultation time will be subject to available slots on that day.
What are the timings of the clinic?
Clinic is open from 08:00 AM to 09:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. On, Sunday it is open from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Specialist consultations are by appointment. You can call on clinic numbers and take an appointment.
Treatment
Do you treat orthopaedic conditions in children?
Yes, we do treat children’s orthopaedic conditions, common being neck pain, knee pain, spine pain, ankle injuries, minor fractures etc.
Do you treat general orthopaedic conditions?
Yes, we do treat general orthopaedic conditions as well, common being tendinosis, tendinitis, heel pain, ankle sprain, tennis elbow, De Quervains disease, foot Pain etc
Do you treat fractures?
Yes. Our specialists are well-trained orthopaedic surgeons and we do treat fractures. If needed, we admit them to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
Do you do surgeries for spine and joint?
Our specialist doctors are also highly trained, very skilled and richly experienced surgeons who do surgeries in various leading hospitals. If our specialist feels there is no other option than surgery for you then he guides you about the details of the surgery and further process.

What is functional rehabilitation?
We believe in treatments while the patient is active in his/her daily activities. We rarely advise strict bed rest and no activity. The goal of our treatments is always to restore the natural rhythm of your body and get you back to 100% normalcy in your work and routine life. We might advise you to change the way you do work but rarely do we advise you to change the work you do! This we call Functional Rehabilitation.
What is “Integrative Medicine”?
Integrative medicine is the appropriate use of conventional biomedicine in association with traditional therapies to achieve optimal health and healing. Integration does not mean just a combination of modern and traditional medicines but the system which reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person. What is “Multidisciplinary Treatment”?
Multi-Disciplinary means the use of 2 or more therapies together. At Spinalogy Clinic, we follow Integrative Medicine with Multidisciplinary therapies. Different therapies include Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy, Manual Therapy, Exercises, Electro therapy, Postural Assessment and Correction, Ergonomics, Complementary Therapies such as Naturopathy and Ayurveda, Yoga, Stress Management etc. These therapies will be prescribed and given in various combinations in an integrative manner depending upon the patient’s condition and diagnosis.

What could be the approximate cost of the treatment?
The cost of the treatment depends upon the treatment protocol and the number and type of sessions prescribed. Every patient treatment is customised as per the diagnosis and cost may vary for individuals.
What are the modes of payment?
You can select any mode of payment from Cash/Card/UPI/Cheque/NEFT/RTGS/Net Banking/Online Transfer.

Do you have admission facilities?
Though we are just OPD (outpatient) clinic, we have associations with nearby hospitals and we will admit you in the same if needed. Most of the treatments can be done on an OPD basis.
Whom to contact in case of emergencies?
Clinic phones are available from 08:00 AM to 09:00 PM during working days. Rest of the time you may contact emergency departments in nearby hospitals. Patients who underwent injection procedures with us can call on +91 950 333 9395 in case of emergencies. In case the number is not reachable, contact the nearby hospital's emergency department.
Who Does The First Consultation?
We are having a team of Specialists including Orthopaedic Surgeons, Spine Surgeons, Associate Physicians and other Assistant Doctors. You can consult any one of them or you can talk to our representative who will guide you about the consultation and appointment.

Do insurance companies pay for our bills?
It depends upon which policy you have. If you need admission for an injection procedure then it can be covered under a cashless insurance policy. Postadmission treatments can be reimbursed. For more clarifications, you need to consult first for diagnosis so that line of treatment can be discussed.
