First branch of Spinalogy Clinic is located in heart of Aundh, easily accessible and has ample parking space for two and four wheelers. We boast of a most spacious and modern rehabilitation facility in Pune with a floor space of 3000 sq ft.
Your experience here would be unlike visiting any other clinic. As you enter Spinalogy you are welcomed into a front desk area where you can wait your turn sipping coffee or reading latest issue of lonely planet. We have 6 consulting rooms which make sure you do not have to wait long. Each consulting room is a patient friendly with soothing interiors and needed equipments. After registration and brief history taking, you will be meeting our Orthopaedic Consultant who will lend a patient ear to your problems. If required you will be asked to undergo an X-ray or some Laboratory tests, both of these are done at the clinic itself and you do not need to go anywhere else. If other higher investigations are required such as MRI, CT Scan or Bone Scan, you will be refereed to nearby quality diagnostic center and your appointments will be facilitated. Your condition would be diagnosed and an individualized treatment plan would be explained to you.
Based on the clinical and investigative findings treatment protocol is decided which is unique to Spinalogy and emphasizes on nonsurgical management of back and neck pain. The treatment is divided into sessions of Orthopedic therapies, Physiotherapies, Complementary therapies, Ergonomic sessions and Stress management.
Orthopedic procedures are done in a Procedure Room and well equipped mini dressing room. If you need to undergo Spinal Injections, nearby hospital is preferred to the procedure since it’s a day care procedure. If you have any insurance, our Admin Head will provide guidance in the same. Though our most of the therapies are not covered under regular insurance coverage, some special Insurance Policies do cover and you need to find the same from your Insurance Agent.
Two large Physiotherapy Rooms conduct specialized treatment sessions in manual therapy, mobilizations, physical therapy, exercises and electrotherapy. These therapies utilize state-of-art equipments which are at par with global standards of treatment. They include therabands, swiss balls, biofeedback units, weight cuffs and pulleys. The electrotherapy part includes Short Wave Diathermy, Ultrasonic Therapy, TENS and Interferential Therapy Machines. Before starting therapies you can change into Patient Gown or track suit or any comfortable clothing you desire in a Changing Room adjacent to Physiotherapy Room.
The Complementary Therapy Room comprises of therapy in Ayurvedic, Naturopathy and Aromatherapy. A specially designed room for these therapies has a look of modern day spa. All the modern equipments required for Oiling, Steam, Bathroom with jets is available in this room. Cleanliness and Hygiene are always top priority for all the rooms.
Ergonomics and occupational therapy constitutes an important part of Spinalogy Approach. As your sessions continue you will be assigned to an ergonomic consultant who will do your postural analysis through various photographs and matrices. After understanding major issues, H/She will suggest individualized corrections to your posture, workstation. We have a unique Ergonomic Laboratory where you are acquainted with an ergonomic workstation and ergonomic chairs with ideal posture to assume. You can also browse through array of Ergonomic Products on open display. They include mattresses, pillows, laptop stands, ergonomic mouse pads and many more.
